Synopsis: Revisionist take on Robin Hood where he is less virtuous and Sheriff of Nottingham more noble than previously depicted.

Comment: [2009-03-12] Studio is contemplating changing the name to Robin Hood to be more identifiable. Universal won competitive bidding war. Crowe will receive $20 million against 20%. Voris and Reiff reportedly receiving low seven figure sum for sale.

7/28/08 - Production on hold due to script concerns, location logistics and labor unrest. Will likely not shoot before 2009. - Hollywood Reporter [2009-02-26] Production begins in early April 2009. Sienna Miller was at one time attached, but exited in 2008.
