Synopsis: A real-estate developer and his beautiful but uneducated girlfriend try to penetrate the social elite of Washington D.C. In order for the developer to secure some much-needed work generated by the Defense industry he hires a socially savvy newsman to polish his girlfriend in social and political skills. Her down-home charm and newfound guile quickly seduces the Beltway crowd, all the while her generous spirit seduces the admiration of the insider, smarmy, capital folk, while at the same time pointing up their avarice.
