Synopsis: A brilliant primatologist, who went insane while living with the mountain gorillas in Rwanda and killed two park rangers, is incarcerated in a primitive prison. The facility's chief psychiatrist tries to make inroads with the insane prisoner and, in his muddle process, allows the tables to be turned on him.

Comment: Adaptation of the 1992 novel.
