Synopsis: A two-bit hustler and a bank employee with a huge gambling debt find themselves framed for murder and are to a tough, 1930s Mississippi prison camp. Through decades of incarceration and numerous failed escape attempts, the two settle into an old-married-couple like routine, trying to make the best of their days.
