Synopsis: Chronicles the history of the CIA through the experiences of a 40-year career agent.

Comment: An original drama which takes place during the formation and early years of the CIA. Project originated at Columbia, then moved to MGM. Universal picked up out of turnaround from MGM. Philip Kaufman was once attached to direct, as was the late John Frankenheimer. Project was put on hold during pre-pro as IEG dropped out of it's portion of financing due to concerns of budget going north of 110 million. Project was placed on hold, DiCaprio dropped out, project was put on hold. Revived 3 weeks later by interest from Matt Damon.
