Synopsis: A paleontologist (Fonda) travels from New York to Maine to investigate the mysterious death of a man near a remote lake. With the help of a taciturn fish and game warden (Pullman), a battling sheriff and wildlife expert, she discovers that an enormous crocodile is responsible for the havoc.

Comment: Inspired by news reports surrounding the valujet crash in the Florida everglades. An action film with comic elements about a 35-foot crocodile found in a lake in Maine and the strange events that transpire.
