Synopsis: In the immediate post-war days of the Gulf War, three U.S. soldiers come upon a map that they believe will take them to a stash of Kuwaiti gold stolen by the Iraqi army. The trio, including an officer near retirement, a soldier eager for money for his family and a religious nut, team up for the clandestine operation. On their trek for the gold, they encounter a land of horrors, disfigured refugees, black-market booty and a troublesome TV journalist who wants to do a "real" story instead of the canned Defense Department concoctions.
