Synopsis: A shy provincial girl, who has deep religious feelings, is slated to marry a hell-raising oil worker. After the marriage, her rowdy husband is seriously injured on the job, paralyzed from the waist down. Not content to wither away, the appetitive, bedridden husband demands that his matrimonial rights be fulfilled, having his dutiful bride engage in lurid sexual acts before him. The hyper-religious woman rationalizes these lusty romps through her faith, a juggling act of dogma and desire. Their marital escapades soon become local news, and the rigidly religious townsfolk bring about their full wrath upon the couple.
