Synopsis: The fantastic four developed their superpowers after being accidentally exposed to radiation while on a mission in outer space. The characters include Dr. Reed Richards, whose lims have the consistency of elastic, and Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, whose body is composed of solid rock and whose battle cry is "it's clobberin' time." Invisible girl Sue Storm and her brother Johnny Storm, the human torch, round out the group.

Comment: Peyton Reed dropped out over 'creative differences' with the studio.
