Synopsis: As if selling death wasn't hard enough, several high profile incidents bring a silver tongued tobacco industry lobbist under attack from a "nico" terrorist, a holier-than-thou senator, and a pair of conniving colleagues.

Comment: The book is written by Christopher Buckley and optioned by Icon in 1994. Fox Searchlight paid 6.5 million, an all time festival high, for the U.S. rights.
