Synopsis: When nuclear waste leaks into the center of the earth and forces it to spin out of its orbit, a brilliant geophysicist recommends detonating a nuclear missile at the earth's core to restore equilibrium. The Army assembles a team including two astronauts, and a brilliant but cynical pilot to drive an underground shuttle, secretly developed by Dr. Brazzelton. All are killed during the rocky journey to the earth's core except the pilot and an astronaut - mission accomplished.
