Synopsis: The music of vampire rock star Lestat de Lioncourt has awakened ancient Egyption Queen Akasha, the original vampire, Queen of the damned. Powerful Akasha kills many young vampires -- they explode in flames -- and she kidnaps Lestat to be her consort / partner as she prepares to rule the world.
