Synopsis: A teenaged girl from the Brooklyn projects finds self-esteem and direction in her life by taking up boxing despite the ridicule from her friends and the borough's macho culture. While training, she meets up with a handsome and sensitive boxer. Together with his power in the ring, causes her to look at love in a different, non-physical and mature way.
