Synopsis: ‘Whispers’ is a baby elephant who is separated from his mother during a raid by poachers. Lost and alone, Whispers grabs the tail of ‘Groove’ (Voice of Angela Bassett), and older independent female elephant with no maternal desires. After a period of reluctance, the two form a bond as they come to depend on each other for company and protection as they make their way to the fabled “Great River,” a supposed paradise for elephants.
