Synopsis: A psychologist is sent to investigate the odd behaviour of scientists living on a space station orbiting the planet Solaris. Once aboard, the shrink falls victim to the planet's influence which reawakens an obsession for a forgotten love.

Comment: Based on novel by Russian author Stanislaw Lem. Novel was adapted for film in Russian in 1972 by Andrei Tarkovsky.
