Synopsis: An obsessive scientist and a female naturalist discover a man born and raised in the wild. As the scientist trains the wild man in the ways of the world - poetry, opera, smoking jackets - his girlfriend, who is unnaturally hairy, fights to preserve the man's simian past, which represents a freedom that most people envy. In the power struggle that ensues, an unusual love triangle emerges.
