Synopsis: As WWII draws to a close, General Mac Arthur orders a secret mission to rescue 500 American POW's held by the Japanese who are in grave danger. The Commander of the mission is forced to take a crash course on Guerilla warfare from an AWOL army mechanic.

Comment: Based on the book, "The Great Raid on Cabanatuan" by William B Breuer, with Hampton Sides' novel "Ghost Soldiers" serving additonal material. Miramax pulled off the release sked from a Feb. '04 release.
