Synopsis: In a society in which robots function alongside human beings in servile capacity and are both harmless and helpul, a technophobic cop uncovers a giant conspiracy when called to investigate a murder he believes was committed by a robot.

Comment: An intended prequel to the robot stories of Isaac Asimov. Originally developed as 'Hardwired' an original spec script by Jeff Vintar which was blended with the 'I, Robot' title when Fox acquired those rights.
