Synopsis: Sequel picks up the "Are We There Yet?" quartet when they move from the big city to the suburbs for an idyllic life. A house renovation leads to chaos, particularly when the contractor who clashes with Cube bonds with his wife and the two kids.

Comment: Film was initally greenlit as a straight remake of "Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House" based on the 1948 Cary Grant film. During pre-pro studio decided to make it a sequel to "Are We There Yet?" and reconceived casting.
