Synopsis: The film tells the story of the marriage of two of the greatest poets of the 20th century, Sylvia Plath and Ted Hughes. It begins in Cambridge where Sylvia, a bright young scholar, first meets and falls for Ted. From its passionaate beginnings, the film charts the powerful and turbulent decline of a relationship culminating with Sylvia's suicide in 1963.
