Synopsis: Hero's come in all shapes and sizes. Big, little, with ponytails and some with four paws. Sal only wanted a dog to call her own. But since her new family's apartment house won't allow dogs, volunteering at a local shelter will just have to do. That is until little Chestnut arrives. Sneaking the puppy home to care for him, Sal and the whole family fall in love with Chestnut. But when little Chestnut grows into big Chestnut it looks like Sal and her best friend will be separated forever.
