Synopsis: Described as a rich ensemble comedy with two central leads. The project is intended to be a love letter to the resilience of the life force and is a story of an unexpected romance that develops against the backdrop of a Southern patriarch's hilariously elaborate memorial.

Comment: Start date pushed from a from January '04 start to sometime spring '04. DreamWorks dropped out of co-fianancing deal during pre-pro. and Orlando Bloom replaced Ashton Kutcher when the start date got pushed. Paramount moved from Summer '05 release sked.
