Synopsis: Madhav (Matt) Singh (Eric Avari) is a tribute to the American Dream. Athletically handsome, he married his college sweetheart. Had a wonderful marriage, and a beautiful son. Started his own company, raised it from his garage to skyscraper. Everything was heading for the moon, then his wife, Jaishiree (Artee Patel), died. Now Matt must find the strength and desire to go on. His business partner (John Davies), son (Kal Penn) and son's girlfriend (Sheetal Sheth), and a friend from the past (Mimi Rogers), all weigh in on his tumultuous journey. A compelling and provocative love story, Inmates of the Heart follows Matt as he struggles to cope with his wife's untimely death, ultimately being catapulted towards the biggest choice of his life; whether to continue on, or be with the one he loves. Matt's choice proves that we all share a similar prison -- one we can never escape -- our hearts.
