Synopsis:
'Special Thanks To Roy London' is a feature length documentary about this late, and much loved acting coach. While the documentary parallels Royís experiences and influences -- tracing his life from his appearance in LIFE magazine as a 5 year old mathematics genius, through his time with Joe Chaiken's Open Theater, his studies with Uta Hagen and his successes as a young playwright in New York -- the film's real focus is on the actors who coached with Roy and the behind the scene stories they share. Conceived as an historical document and teaching tool, it should be of interest to everyone in the arts, especially young actors.
