Synopsis: A bowling star from the late '70s goes for the easy money and becomes an alley hustler but meets up with the wrong rollers and they maim his blowing hand in a ball-return machine. Even after 17 years, the bowler still hasn't mastered his new prosthetic, but in his alley travels he discovers a bowler with star potential; unfortunately, he's also an Amish farm boy with a bowler haircut. The handicapped former star takes him under his manufactured wing and they take to the hustling road, which eventually leads to a national tournament in Reno where the old, bitter bowler gets a last roll against his longtime nemesis.
