Synopsis: A woman on Death Row for a murder she committed many years ago as a teen wants her sentence carried out as expeditiously as possible. Nevertheless, a young and idealistic recent appointee at the Clemency Board discovers compelling reasons for reversal of her case. Spotting a flaw in the original line of defense, he puts in an eleventh-hour appeal for a stay of execution. As he struggles to save her, we come to know more and more of the conflicting and shadowy aspects of her conviction, all exposed under the duress of the ticking clock.
