Synopsis: A reclusive hit man, who has methodically killed an entire family with no feeling whatsoever, is baffled when one of the family’s children, the twelve-year old daughter who was off at the grocery store when the carnage occurred, befriends him. The girl, who is an habitual truant, comes to appreciate the shy and reclusive killer, a loner whose only form of living interaction is with a houseplant. Her openness and kindness toward him stirs up long-suppressed emotions and feelings in the asocial man. He opens up, becoming more human and, with that quality, becomes vulnerable for the first time in his adult life.
