Synopsis: A young woman in the employ of the mysterious Dr. Jekyll attracts the attention of the gloomy recluse when he notices her scarred appendages, the result of childhood abuse when she was locked in a closet with a hungry rodent. Not only physically scarring her, the experience left emotional wounds, causing her to distrust men. She’s vulnerable and becomes intrigued by the nocturnal ramblings of Jekyll’s assistant, Hyde, only to discover that his nightly forays include bloody murder. Entranced by the duo, she labors to protect them from the police, only to find that Hyde is the incarnate alter ego of Dr. Jekyll, the physical manifestation of his desperate attempt to cure himself of a deadly disease.
