Synopsis: A woman who has been raised in isolation in the Smoky Mountains is discovered by a doctor who observes her secretly. While a local university wants to "study" her, he convinces them to let him do it alone, pitching a tent near her and observing her in her natural habitat, unfettered and unencumbered by the constraints and upbringing of modern society. His observation brings him into a personal involvement, which threatens his "research."
