Synopsis: Eleven friends who served together in World War II plan to rob five of the biggest casinos in Las Vegas in one night. Their master plan goes off without a hitch, but keeping the money turns out to be tougher than anyone ever imagined.

Comment: The Vegas loving Sinatra was looking for a starring vehicle that would allow him to continue working the Vegas showrooms while shooting the movie. The story was developed around Sinatra and buddies Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, etc. The set was a constant party, causing no end of frustration for director Milestone who was the consumate professional. He later called it his worst film experience ever. The script was constantly being rewritten and much of the film was improvised on the set.
