Synopsis: A simple man in Northern California is struck by a bolt of lightening on the evening of this 37th birthday, investing him with super-human abilities. Endowed not only with scientific gifts - he predicts an earthquake - he is blessed with a benevolently spiritual outlook. Despite his gifts and general likeability, he still has romantic woes and members of his small town turn against him and his ability to save them in their hour of need is greatly jeopardized.
