Synopsis:
A man whose wife has not left the house for seven years fears the same malady may plague his young son. To circumvent such a fate, he hopes to create “one perfect act”, and decides to take the boy in his classic Pontiac to the Spires of the Moon National Park, symbolically 1,776 miles from their home. Their cross-country, father-son trek leads to personal discovery as they encounter a wide-array of folk – a Vietnam vet, a Native American, and a redneck, among others. Their travels bring them together.
