Synopsis: Affluent Beverly Hills high school students copy the manners of their South Central counterparts. After tragedy strikes, a young teacher who lives in Venice helps the script's heroine see the folly of her and her friends' ways.

Comment: aka 'Powers That Be', New Line purchased the screenplay while Kaplan was still enrolled in High School. Writer Kaplan died in a plane crash in June, 2002.
