Synopsis: A mysterious stranger wanders into the sleepy hamlet of Brewster, taking a room in a boarding house run by the former mayor. Quite surprisingly, the outsider buys airtime on the local radio, launching a show titled "Our Town" where he poses the provocative question, “What’s wrong with Brewster?” The query elicits nasty responses, as catapults the townsfolk into personal battles. With the town all stirred up, he even manages to begin a romance with the local librarian, but both she and her neighbors soon find that the new radioman in town has a suspicious past, which, in this case, leads to murder and mayhem in the previously peaceful little burg.
