Synopsis: An intelligent and bored Nebraska teenager tries to find some fun in small-town America with little adult guidance. Raised by his salt-of-the-earth mother after his father died in Vietnam, he becomes enamored of the class beauty, but she is already spoken for. Incredibly, two dumb tough guys kidnap her, and the love-struck teen tries to save her and thus win her love. His quest is complicated when he brings in a stormy Vietnam vet as muscle support.
