Synopsis: A man named Hector encounters an historical panorama of human experiences. In a series of diverse incarnations throughout the ages, he attempts to come to understand some sort of continuum of man. In Hector’s time travels, he becomes a caveman, a Roman slave, a war refugee from the Middle Ages, a Portuguese sailor, as well as a divorcee in modern-day New York. In all ages and guises, Hector is somewhat of a milquetoast figure, confused by his predicament and not able to actualize any specific form of behavior or procure any overall human perspectives or insights. Given to well meaning but insubstantial quests, Hector merely muddles through the ages.
