Synopsis: A sophisticated Fifth Avenue couple find a young black man at their doorstep with a knife wound. The charming fellow claims that he is a friend of their children from Harvard, and he nimbly insinuates himself into their household. Charming, deferential and exceedingly charismatic, he claims to be Sidney Poitier's son. The couple's delight turns to terror the next morning when he is found cavorting with a male hustler, exposing how easily he was able to enter the inner recesses of their lives and proving in a disquieting way that everyone is connected in a surprisingly close network of human associations.
