Synopsis: A San Francisco poet struggles with a series of failed romantic relationships chiefly because of his irrational fear of commitment, much to the chagrin of his kooky Scottish family and best friend. Happily, he gets a crush on a local butcher. They begin to date, but his talent for finding fault with a potential mate reaches new heights when he begins to suspect that his newfound girlfriend might be an axe murderer. Is he being paranoid, or is he on the slab as the woman’s next victim? It colors their dating with a frantic weirdness that exceeds even his past, failed attempts at finding a mate.
