Synopsis: A woman recently released from jail gets back into society with a waitress job at a small-town Maine eatery, The SpitfireGrill. The locals, ever wary of new folk, are particularly chagrined to find out her last place of employment, especially a bigwig businessman who is paranoid about outsiders. With the restaurant suffering financial burdens and thus imperiling her future, the struggling new waitress comes up with a national raffle idea on how to save the restaurant. The plan is jeopardized by the wait staff's varied personal problems, as well as the tribulations of a mysterious woodsman, who spooks the inhabitants of the staid little burg.
