Synopsis:
An arrogant publisher who revels in the publication of off-putting historical arcana is obsessed with publishing a compendium of Nazi medical atrocities despite the fact that the expensive tome could bankrupt his family-owned publishing house. To save the publishing house, his son tries to get him to publish a popular novel written by the son's male lover, but the autocratic man refuses, causing his offspring to sign over their shares to the son. The vainglorious father forms his own publishing house and becomes increasingly agitated and disabled by the onset of senile dementia, putting his three children in a difficult and delicate position in how to deal with his last days.
