Synopsis: A scientist who places herself in harms way by tracking tornadoes tries to push the boundaries of meteorological research by planting a tracking sensor directly in the middle of a "twister." Careening across the Midwest with her scientific team, she encounters her ex-boyfriend, a former meteorologist turned TV weatherman. In addition, she endures the taunts and competition from a corporate team that wants to garner publicity for the fete. While experiencing old romantic pangs, as well as flying cows, the feisty meteorologist battles the raging weather to get herself smack dab into the epicenter of the killer wind funnel.
