Synopsis: young married couple confronts the wife’s alcoholism, which threatens to disrupt their otherwise harmonious marriage. On the surface, the two working professionals have a perfect life, thriving careers and two lovely daughters, but the woman’s uncontrollable drinking binges hurt their home-life. Initially, she refuses to admit to her problem but a harrowing accident opens her eyes to its severity and she enters a detox program. Still, their marriage fractures as they are unable to deal with her disease, and the husband’s seemingly caring, protective ways are actually a means of hurting her, a veneer for his own aggressions.
