Synopsis: A rowdy, wildcat oil driller is chosen by NASA to head up a life-and-death mission to save the planet. With an asteroid the size of Texas streaking toward Earth, the driller and his unorthodox team of uniquely skilled members must drop a nuclear device into the asteroid's core, knocking it off its earth-bound trajectory.
