STAR WARS FANS SAY C-3PO GLITTERS TOO MUCH

British Star Wars fans expressed keen disappointment and anger over the weekend after waiting in a long line to meet Anthony Daniels, who portrays C-3PO, and then being told when they got to the front that it would cost them $35 for Daniels' autograph. One 16-year-old told the London Sunday People tabloid: ""We didn't have that sort of money on us. Some of the younger kids were crying and their parents paid the money because they had been waiting so long but they were not happy about it either." Daniels said that at such shows, "there is an understanding that if you go there you buy things." He said that a big sign was posted close by saying that the autographs cost $35.
