Britney Spears stormed onto the set of the Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 and berated 13-year-old Alexa Nikola, who co-stars in the series with Spears' 13-year-old sister Jamie Lynn, the New York Post's "Page Six" column claimed today (Monday), citing an unnamed source. The column quoted its source as saying, "Alexa was in tears. She was sobbing and totally upset -- I mean, she has been buying Britney CDs since she was 6, and then Britney tears her to pieces? It was totally uncalled for." A spokeswoman for the Spears sisters responded, "Britney did have words with the girl, but felt she was sticking up for her sister." The nature of the disagreement was not disclosed. The second season of Zoey 101, which instantly became the top-rated cable-TV show among "tweens" in its freshman year, is scheduled to debut on Sept. 10.


THAT CHUCKY DISCLAIMER -- WAS BRITNEY REALLY BEHIND IT?

Focus Features has added a disclaimer to its TV commercial for the upcoming Seed of Chucky, which features a Britney Spears look-alike being blown up. It reads: "Britney Spears does not appear in this movie." Nevertheless, it was not clear whether Spears or her representatives had demanded the disclaimer. In a statement, the studio said that it wanted to make clear that "no actual Britney Spears were harmed during the filming." (more)

A reality TV series featuring Britney Spears as she travels through Europe on her upcoming concert tour is being shopped to TV outlets, with hopes that it could arrive on the air by this summer, in time to support ticket sales for her upcoming U.S. tour, the Hollywood Reporter reported today (Tuesday).
