Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is to become the first New Line film to be distributed by Warner Bros., following the decision of Time Warner chief Jeffrey Bewkes to end New Line's existence as a full-fledged studio and merge many of its operations into Warner's. The Harold & Kumar sequel is set for release on April 25. The announcement would appear to give about 600 New Line employees a time frame for discerning when their jobs will cease to exist.
