MGM SETS BIDDING DEADLINE

The financially strapped studio has announced a March 19th deadline for receiving bids on its assets Monday. Industry experts believe this is a sign that the studio is close to a resolution for its recent financial difficulty, either in terms of a restructing of the company or its sale to a buyer. MGM will be releasing its film Hot Tub Time Machine starring John Cusack next later this month.
