The folks at Jim Henson's Creature Shop, who flunked out earlier this year with Muppets in Space, appear to have a winner with The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. Jami Bernard, in the New York Daily News, finds the film "gentle, funny and full of the lessons one expects from the scions of the late Jim Henson." But, she cautions, the film is tailored to the very youngest moviegoers, "those who may not even be up to the rigors of shoelace-tying." |
