Film critics rarely have kind words to write about horror flicks, and Jeepers Creepers 2 is no exception. Geoff Pevere in the Toronto Star dismisses it as "industrial schlock." Bob Strauss in the Los Angeles Daily News calls it "your basic flying-monster-from-hell-eviscerates-bus-load-of-indistinguishable-young-people exercise." The headline above Claudia Puig's review in USA Today reads: "'Creepers 2': It's so bad, it's scary." And Dave Kehr in the New York Times warns: "You don't have to be a horror-movie scholar to know that nothing significant is going to happen in any movie with '2' in the title; the creature has to stay around long enough at least to complete a trilogy and fill out a nice boxed set of DVDs."
